What is this website all about?  We are about reviewing books.  We like to read.  The biggest problem is know what to pick up next.  So basically we decided to start a site that would benefit each other and other people with reviews of books.  To help people get an idea of what might be a good book they would like to read. 

Currently we have 3 reviewers on this site.  Alison, Jenny, and Chris.

We rate each book we read.  The rating system is pretty simple, each book gets a 1 to 5 rating.  Here is what each means.

1. They actually printed this book?  This rating is for trash that isn’t worth the paper it is printed on.  I have yet to read something that truly deserved this.
2.  Wasn’t really cared for.  This is for books that had problems, or were really just not that great overall.  These are not as rare as a 1 rating, but less frequent than a rating of 3.
3. A good book.  It was great to read.  This rating is for a lot of books out there that are good but not part of the few books that will be on our book shelf and read repeated through life.
4. This is a pretty good book.  It was impressive, insiteful and many other things that will have the reviewer reading it again and putting it on their book shelf for sure.
5. Nobel Prize anyone?  This rating is for a rare book that is absolutely perfect and people are missing out in life if they haven’t read it.  This rating isn’t passed out frequently.

These rating are basically our outline.  Most of the books on this site are going to have a rating of 3 or greater because bad books don’t usually get published, and then we don’t usually put up with a bad book long enough to finish and actually review it.  The books that have bad ratings are usually reviewed for the benefit of others to avoid, the other books are reviewed because we enjoyed them and thought that you might as well, that is what we are about on this site, good books you may really enjoy.
