Classics
February 18th, 2008Piano Classics 2
This is the HUGE book of Classics you may have seen in the music store. The main contributors to this book are J.S. Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Mozart, and Schubert. Some of the more popular composers in this book are Handel, Joplin, Saint-Saens, and Tchaikovsky. This book is rather difficult, but there are a few easy ones. Over all it is probably considered to be a late intermediate.
This is one of my favorite classical books. There are very popular songs like The Entertainer, The Swan and two songs from The Nutcracker. It is such a massive book that there is any sort of song I am in the mood for. Long, short, fast or slow. I love the variety and style that each different composer gives. As of now, my favorite composer from this book is either Joplin, or Debussy. I would indeed recommend this book, or even level one, which is also great.
